The 8th Service Command was a U.S. Army unit that operated during World War II. It was one of the field agencies of the Army Service Forces (ASF), which was one of the three main components of the U.S. Army during the war.

The command’s headquarters was initially in San Antonio, Texas, before moving to Dallas, Texas. Its area of responsibility included the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. The insignia for the 8th Service Command, which was approved on July 18, 1941, is a white star made of two squares on a dark blue disc.
